What is Upcycling?

Upcycling is the repurposing of materials into a product of higher quality or usability. Upcycling is similar to recycling in that you are taking something that has lost its purpose and are reworking it into something new for continued use. For example, you might take a handbag and use the material to make a skirt or a blouse.
